At the University of Manchester, we believe that bullying, harassment, discrimination and any acts of violence against our community are never okay. We use an online Report and Support platform for reporting any incidents affecting the university community that take place either on or off campus.
Report and Support is staffed and underpinned by key University teams - Advice and Response, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. For students, the Conduct and Discipline Team may be called upon if a case goes to investigation and/or disciplinary action.

The aim of this report is to provide the necessary context and information about the disclosures we receive and the University’s response, and services that offer support and guidance to those affected. Its content and presented data relate to all reports received through the platform submitted by members of the university community (students, staff) or wider community in the 2023/2024 academic year. Going forward, the previous academic year’s data will usually be published before the end of December.
